Two Parts Sugar certainly worked it at the sold out L.A. Cupcake Challenge. Monica, her sister Maria and husband headed up to Hollywood on Sunday morning with 1000 cupcakes in tow, including their signature Raspberry Red Velvet cupcake, which received very good feedback at the event.

They created their own unique cupcake stand, designed, cut and assembled 1000 handmade cupcake toppers and whipped up a unique cupcake flavor, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, especially for the competition! Wow! I’m exhausted just reading about it. Cupcakes are big business. No wonder cupcakes are $3.00 a pop. Cupcakes are hard work.

You can read about Monica’s amusing first hand experience at the 2009 L.A. Cupcake Challenge in her website blog. It looked like a very sweet event. The winners of the cupcake challenge will be announced this week. Good luck to Two Parts Sugar!
